What Property Owners Should Know About Providing Security for Invitees - Legal Issues and Risks

  • Understand the risks involved in giving people a "false sense of security"... should you really install those security cameras without a monitoring procedure in place?

Kimberly Trinkaus is an attorney for Kimball, Tirey & St. John, LLP, in the firm’s Business Real Estate Group. Kimberly's practice is focused in Business and Real Estate Litigation and Transactional matters. She has extensive experience in landlord/tenant litigation, City and County administrative hearings, and she specializes in Rent Control and Affordable Housing issues. She represents clients involved in property disputes, breach of lease/contract cases, habitability litigation, and quiet title actions. She is also a Registered Patent Agent. She is the author of “Post-Foreclosure Eviction Moratoriums” in CMBA Legal News. Jonathan D. Alvanos is an attorney for Kimball, Tirey & St. John, LLP, in the firm's Business Real Estate Group. He specializes in real estate and business law. His publications include being an Article Editor to the "Chapman Journal of Criminal Justice" and as a Contributing Editor to the Inland Empire Consumer Bankruptcy Program, 2001. His special awards and accomplishments include: Recipient, CALI Award of Excellence in Civil Procedure (2007), Bankruptcy (2010) and Negotiations (2010)

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0.

Event Fee: $10.00 for OCPA members, $20.00 for non-members and $20.00 for all walk-ins who have not pre-registered online (both members and non-members).
