ETHICS AND EMPLOYMENT LAW 

Presented by: Nadia P. Bermudez

Speaker Bio: With a focus on employment litigation and employment counseling Nadia P. Bermudez has significant litigation and trial experience in employment matters such as sexual harassment, discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, defamation, trade secrets, and a wide range of other matters.  A leader in the legal community, Ms. Bermudez devotes time to serving on a local and national level. She has served as President of the Lawyers Club of San Diego (women’s bar) and has held leadership roles with the American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the San Diego County Bar Association.  Ms. Bermudez has earned numerous awards and accolades for her work and commitment to community service. She was recognized in San Diego Super Lawyers® for 2015 and 2016 for employment litigation. Ms. Bermudez has been named a Top Attorney in Labor and Employment by the San Diego Daily Transcript, and was voted Best of the Bar by San Diego Business Journal.  In recognition of her commitment to promoting diversity, The San Diego County Bar Association awarded Ms. Bermudez the Service Award for Diversity in 2014.  Ms. Bermudez is a graduate of Stanford University School of Law and earned her B.A. from the University of California, Irvine.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE ETHICS CREDIT 1.0. 

$30 for OCPA Members and $40.00 for Non-Members with payment via website event. $40.00 for all walk-in attendees IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE. Walk-ins are on a first come first serve basis.

Dinner will be provided.

Parking: Please bring your parking ticket to the meeting registration table for validation. Event parking is free.

Cancellation Policy - If you need to cancel your registration, please e-mail Hospitality Co-Chairs Tammy Manning at tammy.manning@kavokerrgroup.com and Tanya Chopra at tanyachopra2011@gmail.com.  No refunds will be issued. Credit for a future meeting will be available in your OCPA account if cancellation is received no less than 48 hours prior to the event. Please note: Credit will not be issued to Passport Holders.
