How to Implement and Maintain an Effective Corporate Compliance Program

Presented by: Michael W. Brown, Esq.

Speaker Biography: Michael W. Brown is the owner and founder of the Law Offices of Michael W. Brown. He attended California State University at Fullerton graduating with honors and then went onto attend Pepperdine University School of Law.  Mr. Brown started his career with a boutique law firm in Newport Beach, California focusing on business transactions and business litigation. Since that time, Mr. Brown has served as in-house counsel to various companies, including Apria Healthcare, Tenet Hospital Systems, InSight Health Services, Edwards Lifescience and GE Healthcare.  Mr. Brown has extensive experience in a structuring businesses and assisting them in operating in full compliance with the law, including governance, contracts, policies and procedures, etc.  Mr. Brown has also handles issues specifically related to the healthcare industry, including managed care contract, physician and healthcare provider arrangements, compliance, and HIPAA programs.  Mr. Brown has been frequent speaker for OCPA as well as other conferences nationally.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0.

Event Fee: $10.00 for OCPA members, $20.00 for non-members and $20.00 for all walk-ins who have not pre-registered online (both members and non-members) IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE. Walk-ins are on a first come first serve basis.

Refreshments will be provided thanks to the Corporate/In-House Section Chairs.
