Unique Challenges for Immigration Practitioners and Paralegals in the Trump era

Presented by: Hani Bushra, Attorney at Law

Speaker Bio: Hani S. Bushra is an attorney based in Huntington Beach, California. He is a Coptic Christian, husband, father, son and a first generation immigrant. He immigrated to the United States from Egypt through the Diversity Visa Lottery Program, and is indebted to America for being the welcoming country that it is and for the opportunities that he received here. When he immigrated at the age of 16, Hani entered college and graduated with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Cal State Fullerton. He then went to obtain his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.

After graduating law school and becoming licensed in the State of California, Hani started the Law Offices of Hani S. Bushra in 2008. What began a single person firm has expanded to a staff of three attorneys and six support staff. The focus of the firm is immigration law having handled over a thousand Asylum and family petition cases and hundreds of business immigration cases.  The firm also handles a limited number of Estate planning, Bankruptcy and Criminal Law cases. The firm prides itself in its core values of compassion, competence, competitiveness and charity.
