I Think that I Just Received Electronic Discovery: What Now? This presentation will cover the 3 ways that firms are currently handling e‐discovery through a cost benefit analysis standpoint and what has the potential for sanctions. The analysis is conducted with the use of a sample data set that could be found in any litigation matter today. It covers many of the terms and ideologies that are commonly seen in the ESI space. This MCLE has been utilized by firms for the following:

1.) Introduction to efficient e‐discovery review and production.

2.) How to justify a Protective Order for production of electronic files due to burden of cost.

3.) What red flags to look for when trying to get a Motion to Compel for production of electronic documents.

HUGS PROJECT

Throughout 2013, the OCPA will support our troops by collecting socks at each General Meeting and Section Meeting for The Hugs Project.  Started in 2004, The Hugs Project is dedicated to sending care packages to our Service Men and Women deployed in the Middle East.  

Please bring as many socks as you can - tube, crew and especially wicking socks are needed.
