From Immigration Basics to Solutions in 2013 Immigration is a multi-race issue. This presentation will discusss how to immigrate, President Obama, executive orders - who is excluded, and the path to citizenship.

Presented by: Faith Nouri, CFLS, Lawyer & Mediator Ms. Nouri is an experienced attorney in the field of Immigration law with over 10 years experience serving the O.C. and L.A. communities. She specializes in helping clients file for deferred action, provisional waivers, investment visas and family member residencies. She also assists those with matters pertaining to prior deportations, inadmissibility and cross border issues with the U.S. and Canada. She initiated and acted as liaison between Southern California Attorneys and the CBP (Customs and Border Protection agency) and ICE (Immigration Customs Enforcement agency) with the Department of Homeland Security from its inception until 2009. Ms. Nouri is the past Chair of the LA County Bar, Immigration Section and Past Vice-Chair of the S. CA Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0.

HUGS PROJECT

Throughout 2013, the OCPA will support our troops by collecting socks at each General Meeting and Section Meeting for The Hugs Project.  Started in 2004, The Hugs Project is dedicated to sending care packages to our Service Men and Women deployed in the Middle East.  

Please bring as many socks as you can - tube, crew and especially moisture wicking socks are needed.
