Elder Abuse Fraud Common schemes that target elders and how to prepare elders to safely manage their money, medicine and healthcare.  How paralegals can watch for danger signs of elder abuse.

Presented by: Ted Burnett, Assistant District Attorney, County of Orange Mr. Burnett has been with the district attorney's office for more than 25 years and was promoted to Assistant District Attorney in 2002. He has handled everything from misdemeanors to serious felonies and supervised the Juvenile Office, West Court and the Family Protection Unit.  The Family Protection Unit includes Elder Abuse.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0. 

Free for OCPA Members and $10.00 for Non-Members with payment via website event (preferred) or can be made at the door.

HUGS PROJECT

Throughout 2013, the OCPA will support our troops by collecting socks at each General Meeting and Section Meeting for The Hugs Project.  Started in 2004, The Hugs Project is dedicated to sending care packages to our Service Men and Women deployed in the Middle East.  

Please bring as many socks as you can - tube, crew and especially moisture wicking socks are needed.
