Securities 101 This presentation will cover a basic introduction to US Federal Securities Law, including what is considered a "security", private placement exemptions, Rule 506 of Regulation D and equity crowdfunding.  If time permits, the presentation may also discuss aspects of publicly traded corporations.

Presented by: Mohammed Elayan, Esq. Mr. Elayan is an associate in Stradling's corporate law practice. His practice focuses on public and private securities offerings, mergers and aquisitions, venture capital financing, corporate governance, and private equity. 

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0.

Event Fee: $10.00 for OCPA members, $20.00 for non-members and $20.00 for all walk-ins who have not pre-registered online.   

Parking is free for individuals that leave after 7:30pm when the attendant has left for the day.
