Workers' Compensation Update for 2014 After being in effect for over one year, has SB863 delivered on its systemic reform promises?  In what areas has it been a benefit, and where is there still room for improvement?  Is the system really different now?  And what does the paralegal professional need to know about workers' compensation?

Presented by: Bill Malecki, Esq. Mr. Malecki, Esq. has over 25 years of experience in the California workers' compensation field. He has worked in Sacramento, San Francisco and Santa Ana where he is presently an Attorney III – Specialist in the Legal Department at the State Compensation Insurance Fund.  Mr. Malecki was certified as a Legal Specialist in Workers' Compensation by the State Bar in 1999. He has also served as a Judge Pro-Tem and as a member of the Executive Committee of the State Bar Workers' Compensation Section. Mr. Malecki received his J.D. from the University of San Diego - School of Law and his Bachelor’s degree at the University of California – Riverside.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0.

Event Fee: $10.00 for OCPA members, $20.00 for non-members and $20.00 for all walk-ins who have not pre-registered online.
