The Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of Piercing the Corporate Veil This presentation will focus on, among other things, factors considered by courts in determining whether the alter ego doctrine should be applied, when and how the doctrine is used, and facts to be pleaded or discovered to successfully allege alter ego.

Presented by: Jaime Shean, Esq.  Ms. Shean represents individuals and companies in all aspects of general business and commercial litigation, with a specialty in the representation of lenders in the areas of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy litigation. She has litigated in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts on behalf of lending institutions, non-bank lenders and Fortune 500 companies. A substantial portion of Ms. Shean’s practice also encompasses transactional work, in the documentation of commercial, asset-based and real estate loans and in connection with problem loan workouts.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0.

Event Fee: $10.00 for OCPA members, $20.00 for non-members and $20.00 for all walk-ins who have not pre-registered online.   

Parking is free. The meeting room will be held on the upper floor and accessible via stairway.
