STUDENT SECTION MEETING Hosted by the Orange County Paralegal Association & Santa Ana College

Sameera Sani, Esq. is an Immigration Attorney with a focus in employment-based and family-based immigration matters ranging from non-immigrant visas, permanent residency, and citizenship. Sameera has a heart for students looking to break into the legal field and would like to share practical knowledge with you about Immigration Law.

Certified Paralegal Exam: 9:25am-10:30am

Is it necessary to become a certified paralegal after completing your Paralegal Program? Come hear from a panel of Certified Paralegals. They will explain the pros and cons of becoming a Certified Paralegal. If you decide you're interested in sitting for the certified exam they will be able to provide you information regarding the next review course for NALA exam.


Resumes, Job Interviews, Dressing for Success: 10:35-11:45am

Come learn effective resume writing tips such as when to use bullet points, avoiding first person pronouns, and when to use cover letters. In addition, what do you do once you get the interview? What do you wear? What do you bring? How much do I state if salary is discussed? Come learn all the tips from two industry experts that supervise and hire paralegals.
