Paralegals in Litigation


Attorney Michael Landcaster hires paralegals as independent contractors exclusively for litigation. This includes business, real estate and major torts. Speaker Bio: Mr. Lancaster has been AV Preeminent Rated for over 20 years, has been in trial practice for over 35 years and has a diversified litigation practice focusing primarily in Business, Real Estate, Construction, Employment, General Counsel and Major Torts. Mr. Lancaster has litigated more than 600 Superior Court cases to conclusion, including multiple jury trials, court trials and arbitrations. This includes extensive ADR experience and training.

Mr. Lancaster has years of experience in business transactions, real estate transactions, and Will and Trust practice, business entity formation (Corporations, LLC’S, LLP’S, JV, General and Limited Partnerships), Buy-Sell Agreements, Asset & Stock Purchase, 1031 Exchanges, Commercial, Residential, Retail and Industrial property sales and lease transactions.

Admitted to the California State Bar in 1980, and admitted to practice before U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Central and Southern Districts of California; and U.S. Supreme Court. Juris Doctor: Western State University College of Law; ADR Training: Harvard Law School, Professional Mediation and ADR System Design Workshop, 1992; Certified Mediator Trained in Negotiation, and Mediation Techniques, Los Angeles County Bar Association, 1991.

Event Fee: $10.00 for OCPA members, $20.00 for non-members and $20.00 for all walk-ins who have not pre-registered online (both members and non-members) IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE. Walk-ins are on a first come first serve basis.

Credit for a future meeting will be held in your OCPA account which may be applied to future meetings if your cancellation is received no less than 48 hours prior to the event.
