Fake Accounts and Digital Harassment: How to Unmask and Stop Bad Actors

Presented By: Joseph Jones, Licensed Private Investigator and President of Bosco Legal Services

With massive is technological advancements over the last 10 years, digital harassment through fake accounts, fake emails and "burner" numbers has never been easier for bad actors to perpetrate anonymously. This type of harassment can range from libel/defamation, cyber stalking, revenge porn to extortion. These vicious acts often go unchecked due to law enforcement's limited capacity to investigate and the general assumption these accounts are "untraceable." In this presentation, cyber investigation expert Joseph Jones describes how to unmask the bad actors behind this type of harassment and various available legal remedies on how to bring them to justice.
