 Presenter Biography

Guy Ormes, Esq. is a former prosecutor with the Orange County District Attorney's Office for 20 years. He handled many types of cases with an emphasis in major fraud and political corruption prosecutions. During that time he spent nine years as a cross-designated Special Assistant United States Attorney, prosecuting federal cases in Los Angeles.

Guy teaches in Paralegal Programs at several colleges including UCI, IVC and Santa Ana College. His specialty area of lecture is "ETHICS" in the legal profession.

Guy currently has a limited law practice, being appointed by the court to defend persons charged with civil contempt for not paying their child support. He was hired as a Superior Court Referee for several months at a time hearing traffic cases.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this event qualifies for Ethics MCLE CREDIT 1.0
