LITIGATION LAW SECTION MEETING

TOPIC: Trial Strategy for Millennial Jurors

Millennials (also known as Gen-Y) represent an increasingly important segment of a jury pool. This presentation will provide an overview of the millennial generation and their attitudes, beliefs and communication styles  as well as characteristics and expectations of this generation of jurors. Finally, an overview of voir dire considerations, trial presentation and myths and perceptions as to damages will be covered.

Presented By: Nick Sherman and Manson Ho

Nicholas Sherman, is a Business Development Manager for Magna Legal Services in Los Angeles. Nick earned a Bachelor's in law and Society from Oberlin College in 2010. Nick has worked with hundreds of law firms, insurance companies and government entities on over 100,000 matters to become Elevate's youngest Vice President of Sales and top producer.

Manson Hois the Director of Litigation Solutions based out of Dallas, TX. He practiced commercial litigation and insurance defense for over seven years before moving overseas where he consulted on active U.S.-based trials. In all, Mr. Ho has devoted two decades to providing his expertise to  both providers and buyers of legal services and products.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this event qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0.
