Fiduciary Duties in Real Property Sales

A discussion of Real Property Sales as a Trustee and what the Trustee’s Duties are as well as Listing Real Property; Accepting an Offer; Disclosures: As-Is Sale; and what is Court Confirmation; Interview Questions for Prospective Agent

Presented by: Teresa Gorman, Esq.

Speaker Bio:  Teresa Gorman has represented Private Professional Fiduciaries for almost 20 years as a Trust & Estate Specialist licensed by the State Bar of California.  Teresa is also a Real Estate Broker.  Most importantly, Teresa started her career as a Legal Secretary trainee and attended night law school before becoming an attorney, because we all know who really knows the law!

Teresa's experience complements that of the broker, Ruben Martinez. Ruben established FRES to fulfill his vision of founding a brokerage dedicated to providing exceptional service to the Fiduciary client. Ruben has broad knowledge in the construction field, having worked for Fortune 500 companies managing existing facilities and overseeing the construction of new facilities throughout the Western United States.

This combination of experience and knowledge in both the physical and legal aspects of a real estate transaction make FRES a distinct real estate firm. FRES has honed the real estate transaction to protect the fiduciary seller. Each person at FRES is dedicated to understanding the complexities of a real estate transaction dictated by the Probate Court, the Probate Code or the Trust Document.
