Location:  Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher – Club Palmer Conference Room
3161 Michelson Boulevard
Irvine, CA 92612

Presented by:  Gareth Evans, Esq., Gibson, Dunn & Cruthcer LLP

Gareth Evans has spent two and a half decades litigating cases as a Partner (1999-present) and Associate (1990-1998) at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Gareth is a leader in law and technology, creating strategies to address the challenges in litigation, corporate governance and compliance arising out of increasingly complex enterprise information system environments.

Gareth advises and assists clients in implementing strategies using new technologies to more effectively and efficiently manage the obligations, risks and burdens of e-discovery in complex cases. He also advises clients in implementing effective information governance programs to mitigate the problems arising out of data breaches, litigation, and overburdened information systems.

Gareth has deep experience as a litigator handling complex cases and governmental investigations, and brings that experience and judgment into all the matters in which he is involved. Gareth has spent his nearly 25 years at Gibson Dunn representing clients in securities class action litigation (he has served on the Steering Committee of the Firm's Securities Litigation Practice Group), governmental investigations (DOJ, SEC and FTC), antitrust and intellectual property litigation.

Gareth is a founder and co-chair of Gibson Dunn's Electronic Discovery and Information Governance Practice Group, and a prolific author and speaker on emerging issues in e-discovery and information governance.
