Labor and Employment updates for 2018: The New Year has welcomed in a number of new California laws affecting employers. Come learn about these new laws that can affect you and your firms clients.

Presented By: Shawn Larsen, Esq.

 Presenter Biography

Shawn is a founding partner of Larsen, Willis & Woodard, LLP (formerly Larsen Woodard LLP), a litigation firm. He represents and counsels employers in all areas of employment law. Shawn represents businesses in matters before both federal and state courts, as well as various administrative agencies. He has achieved success for his clients in a wide variety of disputes including class action and multi-plaintiff wage and hour, harassment, disability discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and breach of contract claims. Shawn has expertise handling and advising employers on issues related to social media networks (e.g. Facebook). He regularly lectures before employer groups and conducts in-house training workshops regarding compliance with California and federal employment laws.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE ETHICS CREDIT 1.0. 

$30 for OCPA Members.  $40.00 for Non-Members with payment via website even and $40.00 for all walk-in attendees.  Walk-ins are on a first come first serve basis.

**Cancellation Policy - If you need to cancel your registration, please e-mail Hospitality Co-Chair Tanya Chopra tanyachopra2011@gmail.com. at least 48 hours prior to the event in order to receive credit for a future meeting. Any cancellations received with less than 48 hours notice are not eligible for refunds or credits of any kind as the funds are transferred at that point to the Hotel. 

Note that no refunds will be issued.  Credit for a future meeting will be available in your OCPA account if cancellation is received no less than 48 hours prior to the event.**
