eDiscovery Challenges with IoT and Emoji

Organizations face monumental challenges around Internet of Things (IoT) and information management today. The presentation provides insights to the magnitude of IoT's impact and how the challenge will exponentially increase if not addressed properly. Ethical duties and Compliance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (A.B. 375) will be discussed. The presentation includes IoT data forensics and the amendments to FRE 902 in December of 2017. Additionally, the session will cover the explosion of emoji and gifs in workplace communication and how they need to be included in the eDiscovery strategy. Will you need an emoji translator?
