Presented By:  Daniel L. Ricks


Presenter Bio:  Daniel L. Ricks is the Associate General Counsel over Securities and Corporate Governance at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. where he oversees the company's SEC filings, entity management, executive compensation, and internal ethics training.  Prior to joining Skyworks in 2013, he was a corporate attorney at the global law firm Latham & Watkins.  Daniel received his Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, where he double majored in Electrical Engineering and Music.  He then went to New York University School of Law, where he completed his Juris Doctor degree as well as a Masters of Laws degree in Taxation.  During law school, he served as Senior Executive Editor of the NYU Law Review.

Daniel Rick's presentation focuses on speaking up when you see something wrong.  This riveting presentation will include several real-life scenarios, as well as tips for spotting problems (whether in documents or in organizations).  There will be a fair amount of discussion and audience participation is highly solicited and greatly appreciated.  Daniel has prepared an engaging and thoroughly entertaining presentation that focuses on Ethics in the real-world setting and how to pay attention to detail.

$34.00 Early Registration for OCPA Members only.  Please note that early member registration for the April General Meeting closes on March 25, 2020, two weeks before the meeting.

$40 for OCPA Members.  $60.00 for Non-Members with payment via website and $60.00 for all walk-in attendees.  Walk-ins are on a first come first serve basis.

*Cancellation Policy* - If you need to cancel your registration, please e-mail Hospitality Co-Chairs Lindsey Durbin lindseydurbin.ocpa@gmail.com and Diona Fu at dionafu.ocpa@gmail.com at least 48 hours prior to the event in order to receive credit for a future meeting.  Any cancellations received with less than 48 hours notice are not eligible for refunds or credits of any kind as the funds are transferred at that point to the Hotel. 

Note that no refunds will be issued.  Credit for a future meeting will be available in your OCPA account if cancellation is received no less than 48 hours prior to the event.
