When Ethics and Bankruptcy Collide

Presented by: Renee M. Parker, Esq. Attorney Parker will be discussing issues where Ethics and Bankruptcy collide and potential conflicts of interest that a Bankruptcy Trustee has to contend with.  Prior to working in the Bankruptcy field, Attorney Parker worked in the insurance industry, first for Farmers Insurance and then as an employee of GMAC/Homecomings Financial.  She began practicing in the Bankruptcy field in 2008 and handled both debtor and creditor bankruptcy work, ensuring there was no overlap in geographic area or scope.  Attorney Parker represents clients in, California, Washington and is currently being admitted to Oregon.

Attorney Parker earned her B.S., magna cum laude at California State University, San Marcos and subsequently earned her J.D. at Michigan State University College of Law in 2005. In addition to bankruptcy, Attorney Parker’s practice areas also include litigation and representation involving mortgage banking, loan servicing, foreclosure trustee defense, general business and real estate matters.
