Effective Selection and Efficient Use of an Expert Witness  This presentation will cover the A to Z’s of working with expert witnesses.  Topics will include: (1) identifying when experts are needed; (2) choosing the right experts for your case; (3) knowing when to get experts involved in your case; (4) learning how to use experts most effectively; and (4) and understanding how to use your experts most economically.   Discussions will include using experts at all stages of a case including pre-filing, litigation/discovery and trial.

Presented by: Casey R. Johnson, Esq.  Mr. Johnson is a Partner with Aitken Aitken & Cohn. He specializes in litigation, with an emphasis on wrongful death, insurance bad faith, premises liability, government tort liability, and medical malpractice.

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0.

Event Fee: $10.00 for OCPA members, $20.00 for non-members and $20.00 for all walk-ins who have not pre-registered online.   

Parking is free for individuals that leave after 7:00 pm when the attendant has left for the day. Parking fees are not covered by OCPA or Sonoma Court Reporters.
